Historic Preservation Scholarship
Each year, Historic Pittsford is pleased to offer the Jean France Historic Preservation Scholarship. This one-time $500 award is intended to encourage and support students who demonstrate an interest in a career related to historic preservation. Related career areas may include history, architecture, landscape architecture, museum studies, environmental studies, agricultural science and other fields.
Please check back in March 2025 when eligibility criteria and an application form for the 2025 Jean France Historic Preservation Scholarship will be posted. The application deadline is May 15, 2025.
Jean France
This scholarship honors Jean France, a Pittsford resident, architectural historian and preservation advocate who worked tirelessly for the preservation of Pittsford’s historic architectural and cultural resources. She was a founding member of Historic Pittsford.
